Job Details
Specialist financial services group has an exciting opportunity for a qualified actuary with strong knowledge and awareness of the DB buy in/buy out market coupled with life insurance experience to join their DB pricing team.
In this key role, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of new business quotations, providing final pricing review/sign off.
For quotes that are outsourced, you will work with the DB (Senior) Actuarial Analyst to transition the scheme to the outsourcer, checking/reviewing the final calculation and deliverable for the quotation.
In addition, you will take the lead role in completing ad hoc projects such as data analysis, proposition developments, systems testing and process improvements.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with well-honed IT skills, particularly Excel and coding.
Strong technical skills, deep technical knowledge of actuarial concepts, particularly those underlying bulk annuity pricing, also required.
